Overview

Client is a managed Microsoft Partner andx has won numerous awards for bringing the latest Microsoft technology to the benefit of automation applications. In this key position, the engineer will assist, consult and implement projects for our most important customers. Ideal candidate will possess the highest professional integrity and be the person that the customer can rely on for critical advice involving their use of ICONICS software. Engineer may lead and support multiple projects to ensure that specifications and customer expectations are met. This role requires on-site presence 5 days per week.

  5-10 years’ experience with deployment of Building Automation or SCADA or Industrial Automation Systems Experience in computer and industrial networks Meet the credentialing requirements to secure a CAC (Common Access Card) 5-15% travel required (may include international and weekend travel) Comfortable with customer facing activities Prior achievement of, or ability to acquire Federal Security Credentials and Clearances Additional Skills any of which are considered a plus:
Responsible For
Client is seeking an experienced Senior Building Automation and Controls Engineer with demonstrated capabilities designing and implementing automation projects. Successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of major automation systems; these systems will include extremely large commercial building automation, process automation, and factory automation systems. In this key role, engineer will be involved in the integration of large and diverse types of commercial and industrial equipment and sensors, as well as customer databases and IT applications. You will be contributing to the organization and analysis of monitored data, and will be designing critical graphical dashboards, reports, alerts and workflows based on such data to improve customer’s operations.
Additional Requirements
Artistic skills, UX design, Industrial design a plus Knowledge of IoT technologies, protocols and concepts Experience with OPC, BACnet, Modbus, or SNMP protocols Experience working within Microsoft Software and Operating Systems Exposure to database design and SQL programming
