We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our Private Client Services (PCS) Group in a flexible hybrid capacity, out of our Boston or Waltham offices. Remote arrangements are available for the ideal candidate.

Specific Skills
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting or Tax CPA, EA, or JD certification required 8+ years of technical tax experience in public accounting Strong experience with individual taxation (high net worth) Researching tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to manage multiple high-level work simultaneously Ability to translate complex data from a range of sources into client-ready insights and deliverables Developed public accounting management experience Trusted advisor and role model for your clients and our people across multiple teams, making this a great place to develop a diverse network of collaborative colleagues.    
Responsible For
Technical planning and advising of clients that includes high-profile individuals/families and private entities (including C-Corp, S-Corp, Trusts, and Partnerships) Trusted advisor and role model for your clients and our people across multiple teams, making this a great place to develop a diverse network of collaborative colleagues. Ensure timely filing of all client-related tax returns and documents Manages engagement efficiently by timely assignment, supervision and review of work; conducts timely billing on all engagements for which he/she is responsible Assumes full responsibility for larger, more complicated tax returns and delegates to the various tax preparers as deemed necessary. Performs technical tax review and approval of all tax returns. Develops a professional relationship with the client and serves as the main point-of-contact to the client and ensures that the client is fully informed of engagement progress Generates new business opportunities within current client base and outside network. Respond to federal and state tax notices that impact clients, and represent clients in any potential tax audit Personally coach and develop a highly trained team, all while handling activities with a focus on quality and commercial value. Manage multiple Estate, Gift and Fiduciary client tax engagements simultaneously Review complex estate (Form 706), gift (Form 709), and fiduciary (Form 1041) income tax returns, including related tax schedules, forms and fiduciary accounting documents
